Our highly successful pilot run of DSV Belgium’s Management Trainee Program has come to closure. The first generation of participants have spent the past 16 months exploring several aspects of the work of the Warehousing Division, including account management, finance, warehouse management, customer service and project management. Working on several larger projects and being included in the day-to-day operations of the facilities, Arno, Alexander and Davy expanded on their professional skill sets, built networks and developed an understanding of a large variety of working processes in contract logistics. Additionally, with the help of the Program’s mentoring network, they were able to not only navigate through their tasks but to thrive as a part of the DSV team and reflect on the implications of this learning period. Sylvie Creupelandt, HR Director of DSV Belgium expressed her belief that this experience will impact the advancement of the Trainees’ professional career and open new doors for them within the company.

The DSV Belgium Management Trainee Program aims to be a valuable and meaningful learning experience and a platform to gain relevant work experience in working with multiple areas of the logistic-chain. Alongside our continuous efforts to reach out to the future leaders of DSV, we are thrilled about the success of this pilot program.
